Levulan Photo Dynamic Therapy
The Levulan treatment inhibits acne causing bacteria and creates an exfoliating action on the skin unclogging pores
and regulating excessive oil production. Stubborn acne may not always be responsive to traditional methods of treatment such as antibiotics. Levulan is a safe and effective treatment for acne.
Chemical Peels
Chemical peels for acne can significantly improve a patient's acne condition and the overall appearance of their skin. Chemical peels for acne, more specifically Salicylic Acid peels act directly on oily skin problems or acne. It contains bacteriostatic and fungicide properties which eliminate acne causing bacteria.

Acne scarring is one of the most common flaws in mature skin and doesn’t respond well to topical therapies. Now the amazing PEARL ablative laser offers a safer alternative to surgical abrasion or overpowered and dangerous CO2 lasers for those with moderate to mild acne scarring. While nothing short of surgery will deal with deep “icepick” scars, the PEARL with its depth limited YSGG laser, provides significant improvement or complete removal of mild to moderate acne scarring. While surgical dermabrasion, or CO2 laser ablation take weeks to months to recover from, the PEARL offers results with just 4 days of ‘social downtime’ with minimal discomfort after each treatment. Chemical peels are medical grade treatments that must be supervised by an MD. Excellent, inexpensive treatments to renew your skin by removing the upper layers to expose fresh new skin. A great treatment for acne scarring or rough sun and smoke damaged skin. The upper layers actually peel off a few days after treatment. Acne scarring may require higher concentration TCA peel.
